Kona 2 HD and G4
Hello there : I’m quite worry of having the latest G4 of all…the dual 1.42 GHZ and seing that G5 gets all the attention.
I’m wondering if i install the Kona 2 on it (it already has a raid capable of HD) am I going to be able of doing this tasks.– Capture and edit — 720p23.98 uncompressed — from a — 720p59.94 HD-SDI uncompressed port –.
– Convert 720p23.98 uncompressed to 1080p23.98 uncompressed.
– Convert and output HD to SDI in real time.
– Output a analog RGB HD signal for PVM monitoring.If not, would the Kona 2 do them on a G5 ?

I know Fred Connors already answered this same post long time ago but there’s a difference between this one and the older post. Now I’m asking if Nona 2 would do this task but on G4 !!.
