Kona 2 Hardware Problem
We have a Power PC G5 running FCP with a Kona 2 card and the kbox. We have been using this system for several years now with now problems until now. For some reason the computer doesn’t recognize the kona 2 card in the pci slot. Is there any way to determine if it’s a hardware problem with the card or the kbox? Any ideas or suggestions on here would be great before i go ahead a call aja tech support.

Just call Tech Support, those guys are great and you will find out if you have a hardware problem much faster than use trying to diagnose it via a forum.

Plug in the snake and bypass the kbox. That will determine if it’s the kbox or not.
