Kona 2 analog upconvert
We ae going to be purchasing a KONA 2. One of the main reasons is the upconvert function. We are going to be shooting with the HVX 2oo onto P2 and using the DVX 100 as a second camera and want to upconvert it.
We don’t really have the budget for an expensive deck, so we are probably going to be capturing from the camera.
Can the upconvert on the Kona 2 be utilized through firewire or with an AJA Io LA? Or does it have to be coming in through the SDI on the KONA 2?

you have to get SDI to the kona 2 for the RT upconvert.
