  Kona 1.1.4 update causing very slow renders

  I have installed the newest 1.1.4 drivers on 2 computers (g5 dual 2.67 AND dual 2.0). I have over 2 gigs of ram in each, both are running OSX 10.4.3 – Quicktime 7.3. I’m using FCP 4.5 and I have tried rendering the Same 1 minute HD Uncompressed 4:2:2 clip scaled down into a 720×486 comp. Before I installed the update, it took 12 minutes to render on the dual 2.0, now since I installed the Kona update, it takes 28 minutes! I’m running the clip off my XRAID, and now only one side of the blue lights goes up when rendering as opposed to 2 lights before. I know the update resets the settings in FCP, but I think I’ve changed everthing back.. Maybe I’m missing something, maybe the update is really for FCP 5…. ? I know for sure both computers were running at least 50% faster before the update. Anybody out there have any suggestions?
