    Hi there,

I just downloaded the trial for Knoll Light Factory to give it a try. If I go into the plugin, I can create lights/flares etc. just fine and it looks great in their interface. However, if I push ok and allow it to render out to my photo, it looks like garbage. All pixelated and not what it looked like in the knoll interface. I’ve tried some different photos etc. but they all look bad. Any ideas how to make this plugin work? I have CS5 and am using knoll 3.2

    Thanks.

Sounds like a limitation of the trial version. Some demo plug-ins render with a red X, others add a large amount of noise and some limit the resolution of the output. I suspect you’re running into something similar. Typically with demo plug-ins there’s a read me file that states the limitations of the trial version.

You may be right. No way to verify without buying the full version I guess. I couldn’t find anything in the documentation that stated whether or not the trial deliberately artifacted the images.
