December 18, 2006 at 6:15 pmI’m like Walter. Pretty much my hand hits apple s every time the client says “good, cool, yes, I like it, great, etc.” It’s a muscular response. Or if I’m editing on my own, every time I like it.

December 18, 2006 at 11:18 pmI’m in the same boat, I have eight hours of video loaded in. So it takes auto save too much time to work. At least 30 seconds to run.
As for the built in help….I’m going to do a test a see which is faster? This forum or the built in help.
R,
[walter biscardi] “Most of my projects are huge and it can stop the production process for up to 30 seconds to a minute on our documentary projects. So yes, it can be annoying. I’ve never used Auto Save in the 5+ years of running FCP as I always have my left hand on the keyboard so I just naturally hit Apple+S all the time.”
