Ki Pro Mini SDI=>HDMI question
When I use the SDI input, is then the signal also available on the HDMI output?
That way I could connect a less expensive monitor for preview. -

I dont know for sure as I haven’t seen one yet, but if history serves the outputs are active all the time as with all AJA products. On the mini, though, you won’t be able to up or cross convert. It will basically pass through whatever signal you send it.

That would be fine, no conversion needed in my case.
I have a smallHD monitor which has many inputs like HDMI, but no HD-SDI.
Currently I use a HD-SDi to HDMI convertor, but it drains my batteries. -
You should be all good with the mini doing the spigot conversion.
