Keylight, masks and layer style question
Hi
This might just be a something simple I’m overlooking but my brain can’t understand why this is happening.I have some green screen footage, I draw a garbage matt on it and then apply keylight. Everything keys out fine as the green is very consistent.
I then add a stroke to the footage as a layer style and it becomes visible where I have drawn in the mask as well as around the person in the footage I have seen various tutorials where the same thing is done and the stroke is only visible around the person. What am I doing wrong here?

You could pre-comp your footage (after you’ve applied the garbage matte and Keylight) – select ‘move everything to the pre-comp’ in the pre-comp options. THEN apply your stroke – that should do the trick.

You can create a Garbage Matte by using a Solid or a Shape Layer with Alpha Track Matte.

you probably have a little alpha spill near that mask that is getting stroked by the style.
