Keying Out From White Background
Hi
I have this video I’m trying to key out. But it’s on a white background.
I get that this is not at all ideal, but I’m having a go at it anyway. Is there any advice you guys can give me on this?

So Luma key is good BUT you that blue and yellow look a little similar in luma to what you want to get rid of. I would recommend the extract filter. Get rid of your whites, and then isolate your blue channel and get rid of that blue. It may get tricky around that yellow area though since it is so similar to the color of the animal itself.
If the camera doesn’t move, just mask out that floor area to get rid of the reflection. That could save you some trouble.
You could always try to roto it as well, but that’s not really my area of expertise, so I can’t advise you too highly there.
Overall, I think it’s going to be a pain :/
