  • Keying makes a hole, can I make that hole black?

Hi, I’m pretty much a beginner but… I’m trying to pull a chroma and have done so, but now I need to get rid of some small stuff which is still in the image. I seem to be able to get a good result with the Luma keyer, if I only could turn the “key-holes” black or preferably any colour. But I can’t so I’m stuck. Any suggestion?

    Kind regards:
    Lars

I think you want to make a “garbage Matte” to get rid of background variations while mainting a clean key around your subject…use the masking tool and rough out the subject, you can even annimate the matte for general variations relative to your subject. Goto Help and look up “mask” should give you enough info to pull this off.
