Keying a green screen in a log format or after color correcting? What is best?
I haven’t found too many tutorials showing how to key a greenscreen on a file in log format. Almost everything I see in tutorials are videos which are either color corrected in a software or just as they come from the camera (but not in log format).

Log format compresses all the color/luminance so you capture more dynamic range, but until you expand that back you aren’t getting that information. So first color correct the footage(probably just need to add the proper LUT’s) then key the footage.
