    Roy,

Pretty much anything in Motion can be keyframed if it has a parameter to change. Here’s one approach (albeit a little dangerous if you don’t watch ou!).

    1. Apply your filter to the appropriate object in your Motion project. It will also load into the filters tab in the ultility pane on the left hand side (if you don’t see it, you can hit F3 to activate the Filters tab).

    2. Set your playhead to the frame you want to start keyframing your filter.

    3. In your “tape” transport controls (play, pause, loop , etc.). turn on the record button (left hand button).

    4. In your filters tab, set your parameters to where you want them. Or, leave them at their default if you want them to start there.

    5. Remember, EVERYTHING you change once the record animation button is on will be recorderd as a keyframe.

    6. Move your playhead to the next frame that you want to chage parameters and then change them in the filters tab.

    7. repeat for each change you want.

    8. Turn of the record animation button, hit Home on your keyboard and now you should have keyframed your filter!

This is only one way to do it, but it is fast and as long as you remember to turn the record animation button off, you’ll be fine.

    Hope this helps!
