  Keyframe Assistant – difficulty with Sequence Frames

  I am in a jam using keyframe assistant, something that normally works beautifully. I imported my animation as photoshop layers. I selected all the layers and trimmed to two frames. Then, with the layers still selected, I went to keyframe assistant and clicked on ‘sequence layers.’ Each time I try, it preserves the first layer in place at two frames, then makes the second layer extend to the end of the composition. No other layers are in view.

  I have tried a number of different approaches, selecting from by clicking first the bottom of the list and starting from the top, or just a center section, each time it is the same issue. Originally these frames were a targa sequence. When I had this trouble, i converted them to photoshop layers, thinking that was the problem. I have changed the length of the composition, I have restarted AE and tried the same thing in a new composition.

  I would very much appreciate some insight.
