  Keyboard shortcuts behave strangely

  Hi everyone.

  I’m using Xpress Pro 5.2, and am finding that randomly some keyboard shortcuts stop functioning in the timeline, and start happening in bins. For example I’ll hit Ctrl-A to select all tracks, and all the clips in some bin get selected, even though I have been working in the timeline, not the bin. It also happens with marking in/outs, jkl trimming, mark clip and more.

  Clicking in the timeline doesn’t help, but clicking on the record monitor does. Obviously it’s very disruptive to have to use the mouse just for this purpose.

  Is this a bug, or am I hitting some weird ‘go-to-bin’ shortcut? Or has it to do with my Windows preferences?

  Any ideas?
