  • Keyboard Shortcut to view clip properties in timeline?

Posted by Paul Boone on July 7, 2015 at 1:33 pm

Hi, I’m dealing with mixed frame rates, and I’m looking for a keyboard shortcut to easily see the properties of a clip I’m working with in the timeline, and see resolution, frame rate etc.

    Thanks

    Hi…

Do you have your info panel exposed anywhere in your layout?

this might help get all the info you need at any time..

I’m a big fan of the Info Panel. Can’t dock it like others though. That bugs me.

    Paul…wow that is strange…

sort of docks if it’s not the only tab in a panel…

but put it on its own and the tab goes away…

    WEIRD…

I’m having the same issue, I have a timeline with lots of different frame-rates, and I need to quickly check the frame-rate of a clip.

I tried the info panel, but for some reason it doesn’t show the fps of the clip selected, only the timeline. So if I click on a file that is 60p, the info panel will show it’s name, but incorrectly show 23.976fps.

Anyone else have this problem? Or know of another way of telling varying frame-rate clips apart?
