The documentation says “…If you don’t want to set In and Out points, you can drag the clip directly from a bin or the preview thumbnail in the Project panel.”

But I don’t want to drag with the mouse. I want to navigate with keystrokes.

The context is that I am pasting placeholder subtitles. I want them all about the same duration (and set 4 seconds as my default duration) and I fine tune the timing in the timeline, not in a source preview.

But using the mouse to drag from the Project Panel is…a drag.
