July 25, 2005 at 3:55 pmFrank Printel posted a PDF of all of the keyboard shortcuts for Premiere Pro. A two page version is now available. https://www.siliconbaymedia.com/permiere-pro-1-5-keyshortcuts-a-vert-pg1.pdf and https://www.siliconbaymedia.com/permiere-pro-1-5-keyshortcuts-a-vert-pg2.pdf
I keep links to this kind of thing on my web site – in this case – on the Misc page.

I wonder why those nice, glossy “quick reference cards” or “keyboard reference cards” from software developers died out? I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who found them very useful, and the print cost in relation to the price of professional appplication software must have been minuscule! The easier it is for people to get into and get the best from the software, the better for the reputation, take-up and success of the app, surely ..?

July 25, 2005 at 5:52 pmThe cards could only have a percentage of the shortcuts on them for people who add their own all the time. And I imagine many of the beta testers are in that category. So perhaps when asked, they said not to bother printing them? I don’t really know, but that is one plausible answer.

July 26, 2005 at 2:10 amI have this list beside my keyboard. But the best investment I made was to buy a Bella keyboard with the shuttle and jog wheel.
It is invaluable!!!Ken Adolph

July 26, 2005 at 8:34 amIt’s a thought.
Truespace, though, for all its interface quirks, allows extensive customisation of shortcuts, and has a little menu/panel where you can browse or search through all commands and their current shortcuts, and even save an html list for printing. Not too difficult to implement, and very useful. Adobe listening ..?
Meanwhile it sounds like the Bella keyboard may be worth a look!
