Is there a shortcut to incrementally increase or decrease the gain of a clip in the timeline?

In Final Cut, you select a clip and then control and +/- allows you in increase or decrease the gain one db at a time. Can you do this on avid? Grabbing the keyframe and dragging it up and down gets cumbersome.

    Also, while I’m asking….

I would like to adjust a clip’s gain on the fly without the timeline stopping each time I make an adjustment. I’m trying to do this with the audio mixer tool….is this possible?

    thx!

Besides the Auto Gain method, you can adjust the volume of a clip using the Audio Mixer tool, either by dragging the slider or by typing in the desired gain.
Also, on the quick menu at the top of the Audio Mixer window, you can adjust the gain either for a whole track or in-out.

Also while I’m replying, no you can’t do any of those without it stopping the playback (At least that’s so on MC3, I don’t know about MC5)
