Hi, I was forced to switch from FCP to Premiere recently, and I found I’m so slooow in Premiere, so I beg you for advice.

In FCP, I used keyboard only for basic rough editing, which was really fast, my workflow was: Cmd+4 to load browser, Enter to load clip into Viewer, Shift+Right/Left Arrow to scrub thru the clip (+/-1s), I and O to mark In Out, F9 to insert into timeline. In the timeline, Ctrl+V to do a cut, V and [] to trim the clips/, X to select the clip, or back to the viewer with Cmd+1.

Can anyone who knows Premiere well help me with the shortcuts for this workflow, or suggest a better one? What I miss most is the Shift+Arrow Keys to move 1 second forward or backward – a lot of footage I get are 45 minutes clips, and navigating with mouse is pain…

    Thanks for help.
