  • Key-frame problem – suddenly not working.

Posted by John Russell on August 14, 2017 at 3:03 pm

I key-framed a Quicktime animation to change position, scale and rotation on top of another clip.

Everything was working fine. Now suddenly the key-fames don’t work and the animation remains static. The key frames are still marked and the box moves as I scrub along the timeline but the animation itself stays in the same place. Any suggestions/feedback?

That is weird. I’d start with a save, exit, reboot, restart. WIthout knowing more about your system, can’t carry it much farther than that.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2015.02 (as of 6/2016)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.

    Good point.

Another thing to look at is whether you inadvertently set your keyframe response characteristics to “Hold”?? Right Click on the keyframes to see what it says
