    Hi!

Is it normal that FCPX keeps crashing and bugging and glithching uncontrollably on my MacBookPro while it runs smoothly on my Mac Pro? I ain’t doing anything in particular, and it’s the only app that I have open. My specs are: 2010 MacBookPro 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 Go of RAM.

What I’m thinking is, if this really is a prosumer app, chances are that people are gonna use it to edit on the go on their portable macs. This isn’t aimed that much at people with huge editing rigs.. So smaller computers should support it just fine.

It can’t be that heavy of a program can it? Am I the only one having trouble?

Are you running a listed compatible graphics card?

    It’s an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, so… yeah, it says it’s compatible 🙁

any chance in the system preferences / energy setting, you have automatic graphic switching on? if so, try turning that off so you’re always using your better graphics card
