I’m new to Final Cut Pro and am helping someone out on a project by transcribing a ton of hours of footage. The one problem I have is that I can not keep the video clips playing in the background while I have another window active, it automatically pauses. Is there some option to keep it playing in the background that I have not found yet?

Normally I would just use another media player to accomplish this, but I need to constantly add markers so it would be a pain. I guess if there is no option for this I’ll be going back to using a second laptop for transcribing.

    Thanks in advance

I’d love to know the solution to this as well…

Anyone want to step up and be a hero? Or is this not possible.
