Keeping timecodes synced when diving into a nested Sequence…
I have searched and searched and this is driving me nuts. When I hit cmd + double click to enter a nested sequence, Premiere is not putting me at the same spot in the show as the main sequence. FCP and AE do this flawlessly but why not AP? Is there a key I can hold to send me to the exact spot in the footage inside the nest?

Yes, that can be an issue. Please file a bug report/feature request; https://www.adobe.com/go/wish
