    Setup: Win 7 64 bit
    Vegas 9 pro

Not sure what I’m doing to cause this but as I go along editing a few clips I find the audio and video lose their anchorage… that is, they become separate entities.

If I want to slide one clip into another for a cross transition I have to select both audio and video.. whereas earlier on they were stuck together and I could just grab and move freely.

I haven’t done anything intentional to separate them so wondering what I must hitting or doing to cause it.

Make sure you didn’t accidentally click the Ignore Event Grouping icon found on the toolbar.
The shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+U so I doubt that you pressed that by accident. 🙂

If that’s not the case and only one video is doing this, you can sync them back up very easy with snap feature, select both and hit the “G” key to re-group them. Hope this helps, Danny Hays
