    Hey guys,

I was curious what the most efficient way to keep plexus objects from flying into/too close to the camera? Is depth of field the only way?

    Thanks,
    Tom

I have a similar problem with objects passing through the camera in C4d. I tried adjusting the clipping plane but it just produces a hard cut off as objects come close to the camera.

I would rather not spend the time to render DOF, but if you a have a suggestions/tips on efficient DOF settings for AE and C4D I would love to hear them.

    Best,
    Tom

    Hey Tom,

I’m curious if you ever figured out a solution to this. I’m having the same issue and wish there were some kind of “near vanish” function…

Adding a spherical field of about 500 unit radius and linking it to the 3D camera position worked nicely for me.
