Kasabian music video – done how?
Does anyone know how the latest kasabian video has been made? The song is called “ Shoot the Runner ” and like “Go with the Flow” by Queens of the Stone Age (which I believe was made by Shynola) it has a vector feel to it.
I’m interested to know how the footage has been treated? Can anyone enlighten me?

Lots of ways to filter video and apply mattes to isolated chroma or luma pixels. Best way to do this is to handle your makeup and costumes so you have a limited palette. Then each filter will easily clip out the target color.
Looks like very good preproduction planning to me but I only could tolerate the first few seconds.

I’m more than happy to “read the freakin’ manual” and after your advice i’ll have a better idea of what I’m looking for in the “freakin’ manual”. Surely this is one of the roles of freakin’ forums….. so you can ask a questions and go off and research stuff for yourself freakin’ further? 🙂

Every post that Bogiesan makes has that sig file trailer on it exhorting people to “read the freaking manual.” It is not personal, it is his personal sig file. His advice was very good and as he says in his sig file, don’t take it personal.
I liked the video much better than Bogiesan, btw. It reminded me of a modern day T-Rex or something.
I rock harder than Bogiesan and while I may have more gray hair than Bogiesan, I can outdance him — especially if I’ve been drinking with Cowdog.
Bogiesan reads manuals. I listen to some pretty bad ass rock ‘n roll. Usually when I’m done, my eyes are rolling around too hard to read manuals. So I look for posts by SPACEMAN. SPACEMAN rocks, too. SPACEMAN reads manuals. SPACEMAN can therefore cut music videos. Boomer likes SPACEMAN. SPACEMAN hasn’t posted lately. Boomer misses SPACEMAN and wishes that he would visit this planet again soon.
In SPACEMAN’s absence, I will go read a manual — or maybe wonder why Bogiesan has gotten too old to rock ‘n roll…
