  JVC KA-MR100G SxS Recorder with GY-HD201

  Hi all

  Can’t seem to track down this answer so looking to draw on your collective genius.

  I have the GY-HD201E and was considering the JVC KA-MR100G SxS Memory Card Recorder with a 16GB card. The price was looking right until i realised i need the adaptor.

  My question is – if i buy the unit with out the adaptor will i simply have to have a (short) firewire cable going from the current out into the recorder? If so i could possibly operate it like that for a while and purchase the adaptor further down the track when more funds become available!

  Has anyone used a similar setup?
