JVC HDV Deck & FCP
I have the new JVC HDV camera and deck, and I’m working through the menus getting everybody to play together. Anybody else using the BR-HD50U as their source deck? How about the GY-HD1OOU camera? Love to know your thoughts on them…

No experience whatsover with this gear, but I remember to have read several posts mentioning that the JVC dialect of HDV works less than desireable with FCP (if at all).
Do a quick search on google and older posts.
A solution can be to capture through a capture card to f. ex. DVCPRO HD.It’s kinda sad as the JVC seems like a beatifull camera from what I’ve seen.
Could be wrong.
