    Hello,

I got HD footage shot in the JVC GYHM750 that I need to edit in fcp 7.
My FCP needs the log and transfer plugin from JVC to work but it seems like you need to own the camera in order to download it from the JVC site. I don’t own or have that camera.
Is there any way to get the log and transfer plugin still?
It seems counteractive to not have that plugin available to everybody else.

The footage was shot in the JVC camera as mp4 not .mov.
The footage loads in premiere fine. As a temporary solution, I was thinking to export just the needed shots as Quicktime prores HQ to work on fcp (this footage is part of a bigger project with other footage being edited in fcp), however, to my surprise, the export in Quicktime is limited to DV or HDV settings. Or the native settings which won’t let me export to QT ProresHQ.
I need a solution asap today.
Please reply to haikufilms@gmail.com if you have some tips or a link to the plugin. I will be very grateful.

    Thank you

The machines I am working on have Quicktime Player 10.0.
My own machine used to have Quicktime 7 pro which I bought but was overriden when I updated my system to Snow Leopard. I have been wanted to figure out how to reinstall Quicktime 7 Pro.
Do you think this is the issue?
Right now, in Premiere I can only see DV output, 720×480.
