I want to adapt my Canon J21 2/3″ lens to my JVC 250, which is a 1/3″ chip camera.
B & H sells the adaptor. Beyond the balance issues, what happens when one puts a 2/3″ lens on a 1/3″ chip camera?
    Thanks!

sorry, no access to net full time (trip)

you find in the net exactly changes from 1/3 to 2/3 lens
change from 2/3 to 1/2 matrix is about 1,4 longer lens
camera with lens is litte hard to use (peak in view, longer M.O.D., chromatic abberation)
    question is about lens quality

few yesars ago i try use 2/3 lens with 1/2 sony dvcam camera
very poor effects, hard work, not sharp picture
i use this gear two times, few shots for documentry movie (5% of movie)
and to make one event (lose sharp from short distance, i must use macro!)
    and hart, hard work,
i sell 1/2 camera and buy normal 2/3

but, i have one jvc-201 and wait for your opinion when you try work with this gear,
