JVC DT-V24L1D monitor question
Addressed to anyone using the JVC DT-V24L1D or L3D LCD monitors.
When monitoring SD signals is it possibel to judge interlace errors on these monitors?

the JVC DT-24 is an excellent monitor, and unusually good for standard def signals, as well as HD (which is unusual for a LCD monitor).
When you say “judge interlace errors” – exactly what are you talking about ? How did you judge interlace errors on a CRT monitor ?
Do you mean “can I see critical fine errors, when I import a graphic into a FCP sequence, on things like edges” –
yes, it is very accurate for this type of observation.

No when I asked about judging interlaced errors I didn’t mean anything subtle, just whether the interlace was in the correct order or reversed. Just like you can’t do on most lcds.
