I have already invested money in updating my Lightwave 3d app.

But I am thinking to myself that the time I invest in learning and using the app is going to dwarf the monetary investment.

So I hear all this talk about Cinema 4D and AE…and as I stand ready to take a huge dive I want to get clear on a few things….

I want to determine simply this: Exactly HOW integrated is 4D and how much difference does that make to one’s After Effects work?

I have to assume that Lightwave and Cinema4d probably each do some things better. But if AE work is central for me–would it make THAT much difference to have camera and light and scene integration–and does it really work easily and seamlessly?

I wish I could have witnessed the Maxon tour but I couldn’t. Is there any on-line tour that addresses interoperability with AE?
