A quick, super newbie question. I’ve dropped a clip onto the timeline and all I want to do is cut out a section of repeated frames. Have tried all manner of selecting the section with markers, sections, splits, you name it, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to pull it out and ripple the change so that there’s no gap. Any help would be appreciated.

Turn on the “auto ripple” by clicking on the icon on the top menu bar. Then when you make an empty space by using split and delete (or whatever method) the gaps will automatically close. However most people find it important to turn it off after they are done as it can create havoc during general editing.
