    Hey gang;

    Just bought a Power Mac G5: PMG5 dual 2GHz; 2.5GB RAM, 320GB HD. $350 bucks, not bad eh? Anyway, since this is a Power PC processor and not an Intel, I was wondering, which Final Cut Pro version would work best with it?

    I own 5.0.4, 5.1.2, and 6.0. However, I believe 5.0.4 is out of the question since I own a CAnon XH A1 which I sometimes use in HD.

    Any suggestions?

    Also, I’m running on Tiger 10.4.11, currently trying to upgrade to Leopard.

    Erase the hard drive and start over with a clean install.

    Run FCP 6.0.6 (is that the latest?) whatever the latest 6.0 is that’s what you want to run.

    FCP 7 is out since it’s Intel only.
