  Jumpy Render

  Hello,
  I am getting some render results that look just like a wrong field order when viewed in an NTSC interlaced monitor. You know the jumpy flickery kind of look. Only there are none of the usual trails.

  Also, the wierd part is that I am viewing this issue straight out of Quicktime on my Computer monitor, which is not interlaced. So it can’t be the wrong field order, right? That would only show up on an NTSC moniotr, right?

  I tried changing the field order to Lower Field First, which yielded a quicktime movie which looked like footage with 3:2 pulldown, but the interlaced material never comes together like it normally does.

  The movie involves a 3d camera move into blueprints. There is a good amount of black and white detail, but I have put a subpixel blur on the blueprints and this is definitely not just a hard edge flicker.

  Anyone else experienced this before?
