July Emitter Libraries
I’ve finally released the July emitter libraries. I almost didn’t do one since I’ve been so busy with so many different things, but luckily I started some emitters at the beginning of the month so I had some ideas to work from.
There are really only 2 types of emitters in this lib. The second type is meant to be used on an image/movie only. I started out trying to create a hex “insect view” effect (which I think I did), then played around with some more variations.
The “blur snapshot” is kinda neat — apply that emitter at various times in a clip that has a lot of motion to get a “snapshot” of the frame that fades out. I’d like to see somebody use that in a cool way. I always want to do cool videos with some of these emitters, but never have the time!
Use “check for updates” (Mac versions will be getting this feature in the next couple of days)

Hi Alan,
Thank you for the July emitters. The Blur Snapshot really does work well with action scenes! -
I’d like to see the final result. I thought that would be one of the emitters that nobody ever used.
