Judgement
So I’m counting at least ten or so people who, in terms of involved application, probably spend more time thinking about editing software than most. (Leaving aside, for the moment, whether such people might be found at corporations whose names start with the letter A …)
I submit that a beneficial task might be to enumerate the criteria against which editing software should be judged.
I would expect such criteria would both be broad (abstract and conceptual) as well as specific (technical and feature-based).
As I suspect this might get messy, I won’t even sign this one …
