My company is moving to a new B2B server that is requiring thousands of JPEG images to be converted into transparent PNG files. All of my JPEGs have outlined paths in them but without having to manually open each file, create a selection from the path, copy and paste into a new layer, turn off the original layer, and save the file as a PNG which will take a couple of months working 24 hours a day to do, is there something out there that can convert my pathed JPEG images (product images for web retail) into transparent PNG files. Photoshop Automator STILL doesn’t have the ability to convert in 2022 and I’m not sure creating an Action then running an Automate/Batch will do the job either. I’m at a real loss how I can convert these files without this being a real pain. HELP?!?!?!?

    Hello

There are several options for dealing with your issue:

Employ a Photoshop script: In Photoshop, you might be able to locate or write a script that would transform your outlined JPEG images into transparent PNG files. Online script searches and bespoke script creation are both options you have.

Use a third-party tool: Many third-party applications are readily available that can batch convert JPEG files to PNG files. XnConvert, IrfanView, and ImageMagick are a few examples. To find the one that best suits your needs, you can test out a few various tools.

Employ a freelancer: If you don’t have the time or the necessary skills to conduct the conversion yourself, you might want to think about hiring a freelancer. You may find a lot of independent graphic designers and picture editors to assist you with this assignment.

    Thanks
