jpeg to FCP —format, again!
I am still a bit confused about the format and export format after testing it. I have done some testing on export and burning on DVD but my images are either squeezed horizontally or vertically.
A little guidance will help me out of this maze of formats.
The jpeg slideshow (which will be burned to DVD to play on a 42 inch screen) is worked on in Final cut pro 7. My jpeg stills are sized at 1920×1080 (there is a black border). In final cut, the setting of my sequence are :
Frame Size 1920×1080, Aspect Ratio 19:9
Pixel Aspect Ratio : NTSC – CCIR 601/DV(720×480)
Field Dominance : Lower(Even)QuickTime Video Settings
Compressor: DVCPRO HD 1080i50When I export the sequence, I choose Export->Use QuickTime Conversion
The movie settings are as follows :Compression Type: DVCPRO HDi1050 (should I use HDV1080i50?)
At the moment I do not have a TV (I have no access to a TV) to do testing anymore, would like to know if with this setting the final DVD will play alright on a HDTV or a computer. Everything looks find on computer so far, but I m a bit doubtful about how it look on TV.
