I am trying to add some jpegs with text into a sequence and am having this problem. When I add to a HDTV 1080i timeline they look great, but same jpeg onto a CCIR 601 (40:27) timeline (that’s the format of video I am working with) look terrible. I have tried multiple ways to reconcile this but am stumped. Any thoughts?

    Thanks for the help.

    Don’t resize them in FCP.

It doesn’t matter what the size is, they just look terrible. Another clue: if I try to do any new text into this timeline they also look bad. Thanks

Thanks Jerry. I think I figured it out. Field dominance needs to be set to “none” in sequence settings.
