  A very nice example of why the BMCC’s 13-stops of dynamic range recorded as uncompressed 12-bit 2.5K RAW CinemaDNG @ 5 megaBYTES per frame is a very good thing.

  And, if you haven’t already seen it, you can now download a ~20 megabits/sec version of Philip Bloom’s BMCC sample video, shot using the camera’s amazingly-good 10-bit 1080p ProRes 422 HQ @ 220 megabits/sec mode (same DR as CinemaDNG, just less color info):
