August 11, 2005 at 11:34 pmIn my system “JKL” are shuttle controls for the Timeline Window only and they have no effect in the Source Window.

August 12, 2005 at 7:28 amThat’s two of you with the problem then. As I said, JKL works in both source and program windows on my system.

August 12, 2005 at 8:50 pmI am not at my NLE to retry this, but I had a thought and question for David…. how does your Program or Source Window know which Monitor to control with “JKL” ???
If I use it from the Timeline it controls (displays in)the Program Monitor(s) and I do this all the time but how does one focus the “JKL” control to the Source Monitor? I use the arrow keys to achieve that so its no big deal. ( I am just curious)

August 12, 2005 at 9:12 pmClick in the source monitor to make it active, then JKL applies there.
I guess you can also tab between windows and watch the blue topbar if the mouse is infra dig.

August 13, 2005 at 5:48 amIt must be a Matrox issue then because I am unable to select (focus) those monitors in that manner- although I can use all the controls under each of those. ( except Title Safe & the Zoom)

August 14, 2005 at 11:24 pmCorrection to my previous posts.
I am able to “JKL” in both these Windows and I can shift focus from Source to Program Monitors.
