Hello Everyone, new poster here, but I’m hoping someone can help me solve an issue!

We are showing a short DVD at an event coming up soon, and the video is about one minute too long. The video was imported as an MPEG, and I have made the necessary cuts and added one audio and one video transition.

The problem I am experiencing, is that when i import to Encore, then burn the video to DVD (MPEG-2 DVD), the video gets jittery during fast-motion scenes.

I have searched all over Google and was unable to find a solution. Also, I have played around with the anti-flicker filter, but still have not had success.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Thank you so much in advance, for any information you can send me!

    Keith

Possible field order reversal during Encore’s encoding. DV is lower field first, but Mpeg can be either, just hopefully the same as the original video. If it is not,I doubt there is much you can do without the original video.
Try changing the field order in Encore to the opposite of your first attempt.

worst case scenario, export the file with no fields and burn it as such

lazy method sure, but it works a treat 🙂
