I am running into a problem of “jittery” video. I have been using some screen recording software to record a video program that is in my hard drive. The program plays with it’s own payer and plays quite smooth. I have recorded the full screen video and it plays just fine on Windows Media Player. However, when I import the video into Premiere CS3, the video appears very jittery. When the scenes change, I notice that the scenes flop back and forth at a very fast pace for a few seconds. Also, when the mouse moves, it is not smooth at all and tends to blink on and off for quite a few seconds. Also, on the video is a stopwatch that is recorded. The numbers on the stopwatch on the original recording are very smooth. However, when I place the video in Premiere, they also become very jittery an blink on and off a lot. I went ahead and edited the video just to see what would happen and when I exported the video, the same jittery situation occured in the newly edited video. Can someone please tell me if they have ever seen this before and is there anything that can be done to correct it. Thanks in advance for your help.

I might be that you’ll have to render it… not sure!
