    I’d like to time remap a video clip layer so that the clip would play frames 0 to 3, jump 3 frames backwards, then play frames 1 to 4 and so forth, always playing 4 frames and jumping 3 frames backwards. The result would be a sort of jittery slow-motion effect.

    Would this be doable with time remapping?

    This should do it:

    f = timeToFrames();
    framesToTime(Math.floor(f/4) + f%4);

    Thanks a lot (again)! That did the trick.

    Bumping a 10 year old thread here! The reason being I’m revisiting the old project I described in the original post.

    But this time I would have to reverse the process ie. I need to SKIP every 3 frames in order to get back to the original. How would I be able to do that?

    Here’s a quick illustration of what I’m trying to achieve:

    Also, returning to the original expression: what does the “f%4” do exactly?

    I think that would just be:

    time*4

    Simple and effective. Thank you!
