Jittery audio on export
Working on my first Avid project with Media Composer and I’m having some problems exporting. Anyway, I was trying to export a Xvid video and the visual part turned out just fine but the audio is jittery, very jittery. Why is this so? Any additional info/specifications I need to add so as to clear up what might be my problem?

what are you exporting as?

As I said, Xvid (chose that because I need to make this into something that can play back on a DVD player).

have you tried a QT reference to Avid DVDit?
you’ll need to do mixdowns first. -
How are you making your DVD?
Only MPEG-2 is part of the spec. Since Avid really isn’t meant to compress (but rather to edit), I’d suggest exporting as quicktime reference and importing that into your xvid converter of choice.
