Can anyone comment on the old test results from this thread a couple of weeks ago?: https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/124/864407?

Is it all jiberish, or has anyone seen any problems similar to the ones mentioned? I want to be sure before shelling out for a new card is all..

    Thanks.

    Jimmy,
Looks like we’re tracking the same issues!
I can’t comment on the SDI jitter, but for what it’s worth…

I have noticed a lot of jitter in the subcarrier on the analog output of my DL Extreme. I lay to tape (BetaSP) via a 3rd-party SDI->analog converter.

You can email me at jeff-at-firemist=dot=com if you want some more biased and partly informed opinions! (I’m researching an HD system myself).

Thanks Geoff. I was kind of hoping to get some info from the guys at BMD..The test is 18 months old or so, but I just really wanted to know if the products (mainly HD Extreme/Pro) had been updated/refined since the test?
