Jitter and Flicker correcting timelapse CS3
Hello All:
Timelapse of a sun ball going below the horizon.
Nikon D3 RAW images 3872X2592 240 pixels/inch 16Bit
Shot with 1000 MM Lens, some wind causing a slightly jumpy frame.
What effect should I apply to correct jitter?
Final image is going into a FCP DVCPRO 720 24p timeline.
I
Also having flicker problems, thinking about using color stabilizer.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

to stabilize the image sequence, you’ll want to use the tracker. it’s not an effect, but a feature or tool. you should find the tracker controls in the windows menu.
if the footage was imported as an image sequence (ie. it appears as a single file in the project window) then you can use the tracker on the fotage layer in the comp.
if it is a series of images that you brought in to a comp[ and sequnced yourself, then you’ll need to bringthat comp into a new comp and then use thr tracker on that nested comp/layer.
for best results tracking,find a small high-contrast point that stays in frame the whole sequence to track. if you need to track rotation too, pick two points that match the above criteria that are far apart.
also, color stabilizer is a good place to start, but do a search for other techniques.
