I rendered 4 videos for a wedding dvd. I put it all together in Architect 3, and burnt the DVD last night. I was checking on the tv today to make sure each video came out all right. Most of the DVD is fine, but on two of the videos there was some problems. At one point in the reception video, it seemed to jump ahead several frames, and at one point it froze, and I had to restart the dvd to get out of the problem. What happened with the other video, was that it seemed to jump a little in the video and audio also. I went back to my veg. file in Vegas 6.0, and played the videos to the point where the skips, and freezes were, and there were none in Vegas, so I assume that it is happening when I am rendering through Architect. What I have going on in my dvd is: A picture background in the menu page, a full length song for menu audio, and four menu buttons with animation. When I play the MPEG’S back on windows media player, they play fine. Not sure what to do, to solve this problem. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, many things could be an issue here:

    1. What bitrate was used on those videos
    2. Quality of the burnable DVD
    3. The DVD PLAYER
    4. Speed of the burn
    5. Whether a paper label was used
    etc…

The bit rate used is whatever the default setting is for Vegas 6. The DVD quality is a Taiyo Uden or however it is spelled. The players are a Sony & a Akai. The burn speed was at 8x, and there is no label on the disc.

    Burn at 1x or 2x
