I’m currently working on FCP 6.0.4, on a standard Def sequence. I am importing a quicktime movie that is Animation compressed 720×486. The graphic has a a few lines of red type and a series of images. All of the images play back correctly, the type however looks jagged and strange. As though it’s keying poorly… If i change the color of the type to white the problem goes away…. problem is only with red.
    Any help would be great…

    Todd

Don’t use red. How red is it? Try 90% red or less.

    All the best,

    Tom

Tried that… and pretty much every other possibility of font types… shades etc.. seems like anything that is Alpha capable… is problematic ..

I’ve done stuff like this on my avid for years and have never had these kind of issuse….
